Research has shown that a lot like the DNA structures within the body, there is a simple DNA style pattern within business, government and defence instructions such as:

This DNA pattern can also be used as a very powerful Plain Language Drafting tool. This technique was presented at two international plain legal language conferences, Clarity in France and PLAIN in Washington DC.

As a result of the Clarity conference, a chapter was included in the new Peter Lang international law language text book.
